HAHAHAHAHA, I’ll begin with Dear Mr. President:

HAHAHAHAHA, I’ll begin with Dear Mr. President:

We went on streets and encountered them, I asked them some questions. It was a fascinating experience to be able to interact with so many people, and they taught me more about why I wanted to make this film. There’s so many things and people around us we don’t know or we just simply ignored, I want to find them and bring them into the film in a way when we wake up in the morning, maybe we could look at ourselves or the people around us in a different way and appreciate whatever we have.

Here’s the first 25 people telling us a little thing about them, more coming up!

Thanks to everyone who got involved, thanks to my crew stood by me in the wind.

I met a guy in a cafe in Brooklyn.

(Of course I didn’t start a conversation with the question where would you wish to wake up tomorrow, this part can be neglected, fast forward to…)

“I’m going to film a documentary about people waking up, I want to know where all of those people wish to wake up tomorrow, do you have a specific place in your mind?”

He hesitated for a second, leaned his head against the wall, I caught a glimpse of his awkward smile. “A theme park”, he said.

“What?” I wasn’t surprised at his answer, at this point, I wouldn’t surprise any answer I perceived, the more surprised, the better. I just didn’t hear what he said in a jazz fused little space.

“I have been obsessed with riding roller coasters for many years, I want to wake up in a theme park with all sorts of roller coasters, and they give me free rides.”

“How many roller coasters you have ridden?” He showed me a map of his roller coaster rides, from New York to New Jersey, from Florida to California, from south america to east asia, that was 304 roller coaster rides in total.

“What?” this time, I was giving a real surprised “what” , and exhaled. “I know every single one’s structure, I even know how I would feel just by looking at their structure, there’s no excitement anymore.”

“But if there’s no excitement anymore, why would you keep riding them?”

“I don’t know, I guess I’m just hoping there’s a special one is waiting for me and I will find it, someday.”

I have never ridden a real roller coaster in my life, fear overrode excitement was my reason not getting onto it, I wouldn’t understand how excited it was, such as life, if I could find many of you to raise my awareness, to be inspired, I believe you might receive the same as I do.

I gotta find this guy.

for Wake Up With Me production

Anybody has ever watched this film?

One cameraman, one sound mixer, one directior, three actors, humorous improvised dialogues, 2 weeks production in the woods, impressive naturalistic performance delivers a story salvage friendships gone wrong.

Say goodbye to your old school filmmaking. It’s not big crew, financially funded production can turn into good films.

What if we look at the world in different color-filtered glasses, the world would be different?

Just A Band From Nairobi to New York.

This is a video I edited/shot for the band JUST A BAND while they were touring in New York.

Hey Stranger,
How are you? Which city have you been living in? Where have you moved to?
New York? Paris? or Tokyo?
Will you say hello to me if you ever come by New York?
Thanks for your e-mails wherever you are. I always love to read them.

This film <A Single Man> stuck in my head for past couple days, watched it with preconception that it should be as beautiful and elegant as the director Tom Ford himself, surprisingly, every single frame, set, wardrobe was nearly impeccable, each actor was charming beyond belief, just like flipping fashion magazines, breathtakingly beautiful, put the story aside, this film is exemplary of visual film language, strongly reflected who the director is. ” part of book author Christopher Isherwood’s biography, part of director Tom Ford’s biography ” as they say.
For max visual impact, director Tom himself did big amount of color correction, CGI work in post production, how they utilized small suburb house serving as big fancy house was a good example of low budget filmmaking too. I like the scene when Colin hears his boyfriend’s death, he run away from house in slow mo, no sound but only rain drops, the silence fortifies the impact and his inner turmoil.
